DEMA IS OVER!

What a great trip. Lots of exciting equipment, travel, and training
opportunities to bring back and share. Just look what I have to pack.
Things I am excited about: some new exciting destination possibilites
like Egypt, Antartica (no kidding), and, of course, Chuuk (Truk
Lagoon); some new equipment designs fom Zeagle, including gear sized
for children and young divers (check out the. Ranger Junior that
expands as a child grows); and in terms of training the new PADI
RecTec40 as an intro level into Technical Diving - a wonderful prep
for Truk Lagoon. All in all a wonderful trip. But we are ready to head
back to Peoria and to begin planning our next Deep Blue Adventure with
you.

Signing off from DEMA,

George & Les
The last of the Deep Blue Dive Crew at DEMA.

For all you Ice Divers

How about diving Antartica? There are two dive operators here at DEMA
offering trips there. Also PADI has just releases an Antartic
speciality. Talk about earning your Master Scuba Rating!

The Odyssey

Are you ready for a Deep Blue Adventure. How does diving a graveyard
of dozens Japanese War Ships sunk in battle during WWII? Chuuk Lagoon
is home to the sunk Japanese 3rd Fleet destroyed during Operation
Hailstorm. The Odyssey is a fantastic live-aboard ready to host us in
2012. Listen to what Captain Leonard Kolczynski has to say about Chuuk
and then check them out on the web at www.trukodyssey.com.

Here is Terri from PADI Travel.

Deep Blue Dive Crew hard at work at DEMA

End of a good day at DEMA

The fireworks at Disney World.

Les's report from DEMA

Dive Egypt, Jordan, and Greece

Attended a wonderful travel session on dive vacation possibilities in
Egypt, Jordan, and Greece hosted by the Egyptian Tourism Authority.
Imagine diving the pristine Red Sea, taking a camel ride to the Great
Pyramid, visiting Petra in Jordan, and cruising the Greek Isles on a
luxury yacht. One great feature, the ability to customize our plan to
offer plenty of activies for non-diving family members.

DEMA Session on PR

Attended a very interesting session on taking advantage of PR to
promote Deep Blue Adventure led by Steve Strauss of USA Today. Here is
his exclusive tip to Deep Blue.

Friday's mid day report

It has been an exciting day at DEMA. We have met with reps from Tusa,
Zeagle, and Sea & Sea. Lots of new equipment coming out. Look out for
info on Tusa's new BCDs and Air-integrated dive computers. Zeagle has
come out with a new "wicked" line for their products that includes a
faded and tattooed design. Pretty cool! Most of the Deep Blue Dive
Crew is off to different training sessions. I am attending one on PR.
A bit later I'll be attend a travel session exploring dive
opportunities in Egypt, Jordan, ang Greece. Time for some Deep Blue
ADVENTURE!
